Adjustable, Breathable and Washable for Daily Wear
Dog Hock Brace for Injury Recovery helps your dog walk with confidence again. This dog hock brace stabilizes the rear ankle joint to support recovery from sprains, strains, arthritis flare-ups, and post-surgery rehab—without sacrificing comfort on daily walks.
Targeted hock support: Limits over-flexion of the tarsal (hock) joint to reduce strain and protect healing tissues.
Adjustable, stay-put fit: Multi-point hook-and-loop straps let you dial in the right tension and help prevent slipping or twisting.
Breathable, soft-touch materials: Mesh/Neoprene-style liner allows airflow and cushions the leg for longer wear.
Daily-wear washable design: Easy to clean and quick to dry for everyday use.
Left or right rear leg: Universal design fits either side; order two if both hocks need support.
Cone companion: Works alone for mild cases or with an e-collar to deter licking if needed.
Note: This is a support brace, not a rigid splint. It’s designed to aid stability—not to immobilize or bear weight.
Hock sprains/strains and mild ligament irritation
Arthritis or age-related instability in the rear ankle
Post-operative or post-injury rehab (follow your vet’s plan)
Dogs that over-flex the hock during activity and need light stabilization
Measure before ordering for the best results.
Upper circumference: Around the leg just above the hock joint.
Lower circumference: Around the leg just below the hock joint.
Hock height (coverage): From above the hock to below the joint, where the brace will sit.
Fit tips
If between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort.
Straps should be snug, never tight—use the "two-finger rule".
Trim long fur under straps or loosen slightly to avoid pinching.
Identify the rear leg (left or right).
Open all straps; align the brace with the hock opening centered on the joint.
Fasten bottom to top, adjusting each strap for even pressure.
Let your dog walk a few steps; re-adjust if you notice sliding or twisting.
Begin with short sessions (20–40 min), then increase as your dog adapts.
Materials: Wool surface lycra, Composite diving material
Care: Close straps; hand wash or machine wash cold (delicate). Air dry completely.
Inspection: Check skin and coat daily under the brace for redness or moisture.
Not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis or treatment.
Do not use on open, bleeding or infected wounds without proper dressings.
Stop use if you notice swelling, chafing or persistent discomfort.
For severe ligament injuries or fractures, seek immediate veterinary care.
